What is Wedding Day?

Wedding Day is a private wedding house that plans and runs elite weddings in India for Indian HNI and NRI families who live abroad — in the United States, Canada, the Gulf and the United Kingdom. It is not a matrimony or matchmaking service. Each family is assigned one Wedding Director, vendors are drawn from a vetted private circle, and the family's money is held in escrow and released to a vendor only after each milestone is delivered.

No. Wedding Day does weddings only. It does not offer matchmaking, matrimony profiles or introductions.

Business families and industrialists; founders, CXOs and professionals living abroad; and second-generation Indian diaspora marrying into India. Engagements start at a wedding budget of about one crore rupees (roughly USD 120,000) and are accepted by application.

How can an NRI couple plan a wedding in India from the US, Canada or Dubai?

With Wedding Day, the couple submits a brief or requests a private call, is matched to a named Wedding Director within 24 hours, and builds the wedding over video in their own time zone. The Director sources venues and vendors from a vetted circle, contracts them through escrow, coordinates parents and family in India, sends a short video from the venue every evening of the build, and runs the events on the ground. The couple typically arrives only for the final ten days.

How does Wedding Day protect our money?

Every payment to a vendor sits in a secure escrow account and is released only after that vendor's milestone has been delivered to the family's satisfaction — never on a promise. The budget is shown line by line, in the family's home currency with the rupee equivalent.

How much does Wedding Day cost?

The Wedding Director's fee is fixed and agreed privately before the engagement begins; it is shared on the first private call and is not published. Vendor costs are the family's own, paid through escrow and shown in full. Wedding Day adds nothing on top of a vendor's price.

What packages does Wedding Day offer?

Accepted Answer

Three engagement levels by wedding scale — Signature (weddings up to ₹3 crore), Private (₹3–10 crore) and Estate (above ₹10 crore, by application). Within each, families choose Pre-planning (about three months), Planning (about six months) or the full engagement, 'Till the last guest flies home', which includes production on the ground, daily video updates and post-wedding settlement.

Across India — destination weddings in Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Goa and Delhi-NCR, and hometown weddings — for families based in the US, Canada, the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UK and India.

Is our wedding kept confidential?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every vendor signs a confidentiality agreement before learning the family's name; no photograph is published anywhere, including on Wedding Day's own site, without written consent; and the guest list, budget and family details are seen only by the Wedding Director.

Can our parents in India be involved in the planning?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Parents and family in India are first-class participants: they can be given access to the wedding dashboard, approval rights over chosen decisions such as the menu, and a family liaison in India who works Indian hours.

Does Wedding Day provide a wedding website and guest management?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each couple gets a private wedding site with their own handle — the event schedule in each guest's local time and India time, travel and hotel-block information, pre-wedding and wedding photo albums with photographer credits, a registry and shagun page, RSVP by household, and personal thank-you pages for every household who attended.
