Vendor verification
We meet every vendor in person before they list. We check their business registration, their GST, their past work, and their references from at least two weddings. We visit their studio or venue. A vendor cannot buy their way onto Wedding Day.
The three tiers

Preferred
Verified, plus a strong record of NRI weddings and remote-manageable workflows — video walkthroughs, daily logs, couriered samples.
Signature
Our highest mark. Preferred, plus a multi-year track record, consistently rated work, and a team we would book for our own family.
Escrow & milestone payments
When you accept a quote, we create a booking with a default payment schedule — an advance, a mid payment, and a final on-delivery payment. Your money sits with us. We release each milestone to the vendor only when it is delivered and confirmed — by your planner on the ground, by photo or video, and by you. If a milestone is not met, the money is not released. That is the whole promise.
Platform-backed guarantees
- — If a verified vendor fails to deliver a milestone, your held payment is not released — and we find a replacement from our bench.
- — If a dispute arises, we hold the disputed milestone in escrow until it is resolved, and we mediate.
- — Every booking has a written scope. Every payment has a receipt. Everything is on the record.
Dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, you raise it on your dashboard. Your planner responds within their response promise. If it cannot be resolved with the vendor, Wedding Day mediates, and the disputed payment stays in escrow until it is. We are on your side — we are paid by you, not by the vendor.
Data privacy
Your brief, your budget, your guest list and your messages stay on the platform. We never share your contact with a vendor without your consent. Vendor contact details are hidden by default — leads go through us, so the conversation stays on the record.
Legal & marriage registration
For foreign spouses, we guide the legal marriage registration under the Special Marriage Act — the documents, the notice period, and the in-person appointment. We do not give legal advice, but we connect you with a verified lawyer and manage the paperwork timeline alongside the wedding.
Foreign-spouse documents typically required: valid passport, birth certificate, single-status affidavit, NOC from home embassy where applicable. We send you the full checklist with your brief.
